4 Tips To Reduce Holiday Stress

Well, we’ve almost done it! So are you looking ahead into the New Year as 2018 comes close to the end. I don’t know about you, but I think it take a lot of hard work and patience to make it to the end of December in one piece.

Today was one of them days where I started with all the things that instantly put me in great form, a fabulous lay in, yummy breakfast, killer workout and some lovely time spent with the family. I felt positive and motivated, to write this piece in fact. I’ve noticed online people feeling discouraged in their “Fitness journey” so they just give up or send out negative posts. But this is where you make the decision, instead of stressing about ‘Time Off’ give yourself a break, maybe its time to be a little kinder to yourself, maybe its ok to step of the gas a little bit, maybe that's what you actually need. A Reset. A Regroup.

With the first year for me of full-time work, 2 new jobs and several freelance projects, 1 six nations played, new nephew welcomed to the family, moved out of our apartment, new house. Sunny holidays abroad, website up and going.. so many memorable things have happened in 2018. If there is anything I do well is finding ways to relax and recharge that are effective and healing. So here are my 4 top ways to reduce stress this holiday season.

Music has such an impact and can massively affect your mood.

Your going to think I live under a rock when I tell you this, My students introduced me to sound cloud and Spotify recently and I’ve only just started to use it, well its a game changer alright.

Whatever methods you choose, the point is to take a minute to feel healthy and beautiful—and you deserve it.

Sometimes movie marathon entertainment is exactly what you need to stay sane. So, if hanging on the couch with your dog and huge blankets wrapped round you while marathon-ing through an entire old season of Gossip Girl is exactly what you need, I say go for it!
